Resource Sites - Internet drill and practice
This is an interactive site where kids can play games to develop language arts and math skills. Students can practice punctuation, grammar, telling time, addition and subtraction, and other second grade skills.
Long-term projects
Over the past month or so the students have been working on stories during their computer/creative writing time. Each group chose a common object to connect their stories to each others’. Our next step is to make a movie, using our stories as inspiration. We are currently in pre-production, and hope to begin filming in late January or early February
