I went to see the Oakland Ballet Nutcracker with my class. First Marie was given the Nutcracker by Herr Drosselmeyer. In the the middle The Nutcracker showed the snowflakes. At the end Marie returned home. My favorite character was Herr Drosselmeyer: he had an astonishing costume. The ballet was great. You would think that Herr Drosselmeyer really was a magician. All the costumes were beautiful, but Herr Drosselmeyer's costume was by far the best in my opinion. I have seen the Nutcracker four times before and this one comes in seccond of the ones I've seen.
The best one that I've seen was the San Francisco Ballet Nutcracker, it was magical and beautiful. If you haven't seen any versions I recommend you see the Oakland Ballet Nutcracker. It is an interesting version, athough not the best it is a very good one. The Nutcracker is a very interesting story and there are many different versions to go see, but if you ask me this one is one of the best. The story is very interesting and this version is too good to resist.
