We went to the Oakland Nutcracker Ballet. Our story begins on Christmas Eve. Marie got a Nutcracker and Fritz got a toy rat from Herr Drosselmeyer and his nephew. Then the Nutcracker came to life and the toy rat came to life and the Nutcracker and the rat had a duel. The walnut shell boat took them to the Land of Sweets. I like the part when the Spanish Chocolates did their dance.
