Yesterday me and my class went to the Sulphur Creek Nature Center. We had a program where we sat down in a U shape and she showed us a tortoise named Flash that had red eyes a white stripe down its back. The toad that she showed us also had a white stripe down its back. I used to not know but now know that the white stripe means it can let off a bad smell or it is poisonous. My favorite bird that I saw before the program was the raven. It had a strong beak and beautiful feathers and had lots of toys in its cage.
