We went to Sulphur Creek Nature Center. At the program there was a garter snake. He was blackish green and had a yellow stripe down his back. It looked like it was trying to escape from Wendy's hands. It felt scaly. I learned that toads have a white stripe on their back so animals know to stay away. I saw a golden eagle too.
