MARK

Yesterday my class and I went to Sulphur Creek Nature Center. We told her what we knew about Amphibians and Reptiles. I saw a toad. It had black dots which had poison in them. He had a white stripe on its back to warn other animals that he wouldn't be a good meal. It was talking to us and was hopping to August. I was telling August that he was coming to you. I think he would have felt bumpy. I don't know what he smelled like. I learned that when a toad talks it's a male and it doesn't talk if it's a female. I saw chickens. It would have felt feathery. I didn't know that they slide their feet to dig deep down to find worms to eat. I like when the brown chicken escaped from the cage and the coyote howled.
