This morning I woke up in my "donkey's breakfast" in the forecastle. I woke up when our bell rang. I got up, put on my clothes and went outside. I was freezing when I got out. I don't know but for some reason I think we are near Cape Horn. We climbed up to the first yard and pulled the sail up. Then did the same thing with all of them. Then the captain said I could go to the wheel and steer. I said O.K (By the way my name is Joe and I sail on a ship named "The Eagle"). Waves splashed over the deck and I was soaked. Finally, we were past Cape Horn and we delivered the flour that we were carrying.
