Mission San Antonio de Padua is located near Jolon in the Valley of the Oaks. It was founded by Fr. Serra on July 14, 1771. It was number 3 in the Mission chain. It was named after Saint Anthony. Interesting fact: San Antonio was the first of the Missions to have the Spanish tiled roof.
