In October, the fifth grade presented the haunted house. First we picked our parts: ghosts, goblins, devils etc. Then we set it up inside in the music room. Two parents helped and they brought fantastic props even a coffin. To make sure that the little kids were not scared we held their hands and asked the performers to not be so scary. The first room had ghosts having a feast it was dark in the room and things hanging off the ceiling.
In the next room there was a priest and dead bodies walking around. There was a huge Grim Reaper next to the door. In the third room there were trash bags filled with newspaper hanging from the ceiling. The room was also pitch black so it was impossible to see anything. The kids would walk in and suddenly they couldnąt see a thing. Then they would have to walk blindly through the room, walking into the trash bags.
The last room was all red. There were two devils to the side behind some fake cardboard fire. They were doing a little skit over and over. There was a strobe light on the devils so it made it look like an old fashion movie. At the end of the skit the devils fell down.
