This month the kindergartners will learn why leaves change color and what changes happen during the fall season.  We will make fall trees, scarecrows, acorn faces and watercolor maple leaves.  We will investigate acorns and pumpkins in science.  We’re also going on a field trip to the Clayton Valley Pumpkin Patch this month.

Halloween – We celebrate Halloween by reading books, making skeletons, jack-o-lanterns and of course, taking part in our school’s Halloween festival 




October is National Fire Safety month and the kindergartners will take part in this event by learning how to be safe in an event of a fire.   We will sing songs and play games about fire safety.  We will also create fire trucks in art and make delicious fire truck treats in kindergarten café.
