Battle of Marathon: My diorama was a model of the battle of Marathon. It was when the Persians were heading toward Athens and leaving from the main site of Marathon. The Athenians had just rushed in and attacked the Persians. The battle on my diorama is on the mountain above the actual Valley of Marathon. The Valley of Marathon is where the actual battle took place. Above on the mountains is where the part of the battle in my diorama took place.
