In this year's band there are more students than ever before. This year we have made up our own song, and are playing Jazz, Hip-Hop, R & B, Blues, and artists like Herbie Hancock, Duke Ellington, Horace Silver and more! In our band we have two drummers, Willy and Kim. We have three saxophonists, Max B., Nathan and Lizzy. We have Lucien playing the clarinets. Michael K. and Taylor are our pianists. We have Julian playing the acoustic guitar. Most years we have a electric guitarist and a bass player, but this year we don't! We practice twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays before school from 7:45 AM to 8:30 AM. Each person has to bring his or her own intrument to band, except for the piano and the drums. We all work really hard but in the end, it's worth it!
