Ms. Mytko & Ms. Wood

Ms. Wood has been asked to serve on the CAIS (California Association of Independent Schools) Professional Service Committee as a representative of the discipline of science.

Ms. Mytko recently competed in a special edition of the Exploratorium’s “Iron Science Teacher” (a science competition that parodies the Japanese program “Iron Chef”) and emerged as the science teacher champion – for the second year in a row! “My secret ingredient was chalk. This was a tough one for me. After discarding a number of boring ideas, I clinched the title with chalk chromatography. (And, of course, putting kids in costumes… works every time.)”
